My usual to do list morphed into something unique today. The "buy almond milk" and "email client forms" was replaced by this:
Let pleasure in
Connect with inner compass
Ask for guidance
Stick to real talk
Take risks that inspire
Say "thank you" constantly
Go bold sporadically
This is my Get To / Choose To / Want To Do List. It lights me up. It also gets to the point of what makes life meaningful and productive. I want to get the to do items checked off. I also know there's more to life than stocking the fridge and paying the bills. What I know for sure is that when I'm inspired I'm living on purpose. The to do's get done when they're not all I'm living for.
If you look beyond your standard to do list of daily chores and weekly commitments, what's on your Get To Do / Choose To Do / Want to Do list?
What's possible beyond the daily grind if you let your soul out to play?
Invitation: take five minutes to ask your soul what it needs and wants then see what comes. Have you been postponing joy where it might easily be incorporated? The Get To Dos are often simple and satisfying.
Recovery is all about listening to the entire self: practical, realistic, mental & emotional, mystical, imaginative.
Every part of self, the practical as well as the dreamer, hold wisdom and direction to move you forward.
The Want To Do's become active living with a little bit of attention and conscious choice.
Playing music while writing that report or going for the flashy color the next time you get a pedicure might be just what's in store.
When you're inspired you're productive. Take a minute to let your spirit speak and see what it asks for. It's probably more straightforward than you think. If you need help clarifying what comes, contact me and we'll get to it together!
Here's to living on purpose and thriving.
It's why you're here & the world is so ready for you to show up full throttle.
